Can the iPad be put on my home owner's insurance?

You will need to contact your insurance agent. Central School will not be providing insurance to families for the iPads.

If you do not have wireless Internet at your home do you need to have that for your student to use their iPad at home? Who do you contact about this and what are the prices?

iPads do require wireless Internet access. However, we don’t want anyone to feel burdened to have WiFi installed in their home. We are assuming there will be homes without WiFi and families who choose not to take the iPads home. Our staff understands this and will make sure that homework can still be completed at home, with or without the iPad.

There are several different companies who offer wireless Internet services within our school district depending on where you live (i.e., Alpine Communications, NEITEL, Windstream, Mediacom). These companies can provide you with the  information and prices you need.
